April McNeely comes to the Menlo Park Chorus with more than 40 years experience in choral singing and conducting and has been a featured soprano with many symphony orchestras and choirs. An active member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) and the American Choral Directors Association, Ms. McNeely currently serves as Director of Music at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Oakland. Ms. McNeely has taught applied voice at Santa Clara University and maintains a private voice studio in San Leandro. She holds a Master’s Degree in Musicology from California State University, East Bay and a Master’s of Divinity in Theology from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley.
